Text Box: I am a 1975 Graduate of the University of North Carolina where I majored in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. I served in the Navy for 23 years as a line officer, with several tours as an instructor which included teaching naval weapons systems at The Citadel. I retired as a Commander in 1998 and received a Masters Degree in Education from the College of Charleston in 2000. I am married to Judith Veronen and we have a son and a daughter in college who are BE alumni. I spend summers running a “resort” (more like a fishing camp) in northern Minnesota with my wife’s family.
